Founded by Michael Townes, the business was built on a strong foundation of hard work, practical knowledge and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes for clients. Today, the business continues under the leadership of Michael’s sons, Directors Daniel and Jed Townes, who carry forward the values and reputation established over decades while continuing to evolve the company’s capability.

With an experienced team, modern equipment and a commitment to safety and quality, Townes Group delivers civil construction, earthworks, project management, plant hire and specialist services for government, mining, commercial, agricultural and private-sector clients. Working as both a principal contractor and trusted subcontractor, we have the flexibility and capability to deliver projects of varying scale and complexity.
